1. Who controls your data
The controller of your personal data is Anna Zielonka, operating Lemon Guesthouse, 69 Wolborska Street, 97-300 Piotrków Trybunalski, Poland, Tax ID (NIP) 7711524184.
For anything concerning your data, write to lemonbiuro@op.pl or call +48 724 692 917.
2. What data we collect and where it comes from
We process only what is needed to answer your enquiry and to host your stay:
- Enquiry by e-mail or phone: name, e-mail address, phone number, planned dates, number of guests and the content of your message.
- Booking through the booking module on this site (RoomAdmin): the details you enter in the form, i.e. name, e-mail, phone, dates, number of guests, any remarks and invoice details. Online payment, where available, is handled by the payment operator named in the module.
- Booking through portals (e.g. Booking.com): the portal passes us the details needed to receive you. The portal is a separate controller of your data.
- Technical data of your visit: IP address, browser type and time of access, recorded automatically in the hosting provider's server logs.
3. Why and on what legal basis
We process your data to answer your enquiry and agree your stay (steps prior to a contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), to fulfil the booking and the stay (performance of a contract, Art. 6(1)(b)), to meet tax and accounting obligations (Art. 6(1)(c)), and to keep the site secure and to establish or defend legal claims (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f)).
Providing your data is voluntary, but without it we cannot answer an enquiry or accept a booking.
4. How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a stay are deleted after twelve months. Booking data and accounting documents are kept for five years from the end of the tax year of the stay, as required by law. Server logs are kept for a short period defined by the hosting provider, solely for security purposes.
5. Who we share data with
We do not sell your data and do not share it with anyone for marketing purposes. Only the parties without which the site and bookings could not work have access to it:
- the website hosting provider — Hostinger International Ltd. (Lithuania), with servers located in the European Union,
- the provider of the RoomAdmin booking system, which processes booking data on our behalf under a data processing agreement,
- our e-mail provider,
- our accounting office, for accounting documents,
- the payment operator, if you choose to pay online in the booking module.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to have it rectified or erased, to restrict its processing, to data portability, and to object to processing based on our legitimate interest. Just write to lemonbiuro@op.pl.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office in Poland (ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw).
7. Cookies and technologies on this site
The site itself sets no cookies and has no analytics, advertising scripts or tracking pixels. Fonts are served from our own server, so opening the site does not connect to Google Fonts or any other external provider.
Dates chosen in the “Choose your stay dates” field stay in your browser only — they are used solely to show the booking phone number and are not sent to us.
The RoomAdmin booking module is an embedded frame of an external system. It may set its own cookies required to complete a booking and operates under its operator's privacy policy.
The map on the contact page is our own schematic drawing. Only clicking “Open in Google Maps” takes you to Google's service.
8. External links
After clicking a link to Google Maps, a booking portal or any other external service, you are on someone else's site and its privacy rules apply, not ours.
9. Changes to this policy
If the way we process data changes, for example after switching the hosting provider or booking system, we will update this document and the date at the bottom of the page.
Last updated: 9 September 2026. The Polish version of this document is the binding one.
